Privacy policy

There are no accounts, and the calculators run in your browser. This page lists everything the English pages send to our server or to anyone else.

In short

  • What you type into a calculator (dates, sensitivity, scores) is not sent to our server.
  • We count that a calculator was used, without the values. No names, emails or IP addresses are stored.
  • We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it runs without analytics cookies.
  • There are no ads and no affiliate links on the English pages.

What our server stores

Calculator use

The time and which calculator produced a result (for example “sensitivity”). The values you entered and the results are not included.

Used to see which tools are used and fix the ones that are not working.

Server logs

Like any web server, ours handles your IP address to deliver the page and to block abusive traffic. IP addresses are not written to our database.

What we do not collect

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location.
  • The values you type (dates of birth, dates, DPI and sensitivity, bowling frames).

Our server sets no cookies. Values only leave your browser if you use a share button: “Copy link” and similar buttons put your inputs into the link, so whoever you send it to can see them. When you open such a link, the calculator fills in the values and then removes them from the address bar.

Google Analytics and consent

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to count page views and see where visitors come from. It reports pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate region and referring site.

We send the page path without the part after “?” and “#”, so calculator inputs never reach Google Analytics. We send events when a result first appears or a share or outbound link is used, with the calculator name and button type only. Visits from automated browsers are not sent.

Google Consent Mode v2 is set before the analytics tag loads. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (32 countries), analytics storage is denied: Google Analytics sets no cookies and sends only cookieless pings, which Google uses for aggregate modelling. Everywhere else, Google Analytics may set its first-party cookies (_ga). Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are denied for everyone, and Google signals and ad personalisation signals are switched off.

To opt out entirely, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Ads and cookies

The English pages show no ads and load no advertising scripts. Some Korean pages of this site carry Google AdSense and Coupang Partners links; those are described in the Korean privacy policy.

Before we show ads on English pages, we will add a Google-certified consent banner for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and update this policy first.

Stored on your device

Dark mode and text size preferences are kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and are never sent to us. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.

Your rights

Because we do not store anything that identifies you, there is normally nothing for us to find, correct or delete. If you are in the EEA or the UK you still have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection under the GDPR, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Contact us and we will answer.

Our lawful basis for the anonymous usage count is our legitimate interest in keeping the tools working. Analytics in the EEA, UK and Switzerland runs without cookies, as described above.
