How the names are made
Names are generated in your browser on this device. Each press draws a fresh seed from your browser’s secure random number generator, and names containing blocked words are never shown.
Four ways to make a name
The examples below come from this page’s generator run with fixed seeds (English, 4–12 characters). It is the same generator as above, so you will see names like these when you press the button.

Turn on “Decorations” and about half the names get decorations at the ends or between words, for example _TskCow, Clam~Flit, _EchoOwl, CloakTomato☆. Each decoration counts as one character.
If your own word is longer than the maximum length, you are told right away instead of getting no results. In “Overlap blend”, if no list word overlaps with yours, the names are made without it and the page says so.
You can switch the language to Korean in the generator. The 4 styles work the same way with Korean words and syllables.
How ♥ learns your taste
Pressing ♥ stores the words or letters in that name, its style, its length and its sound pattern in your browser’s local storage on this device. Later batches pick candidates that share those features more often, and mix in names built from words you liked.
So you don’t only get look-alikes, 6 of every 12 names are drawn without your history. Press ♥ again to take a name out, or “Reset taste” to delete all liked names and history. Your ♥ history is never sent to our server. In browsers that block storage (some private modes) the generator still works; it just doesn’t learn.
Name rules by game and app
When you pick a game or app, names that break its rules are never generated. If it doesn’t allow special characters, decorations switch off; if it doesn’t allow Korean and you choose Korean, you are told right away.

We only list games and apps whose length and allowed characters we confirmed on an official page. Where the official wording leaves something open, we chose the stricter reading that passes either way (for example, Riot’s official text for the Riot ID game name says letters and numbers only, so Korean is not offered there).
What is sent to our server
Names are made on your device and never sent to our server (we only count uses anonymously). When you press “Copy” next to a generated name, that name, its language, its style and the game you picked are recorded once, to build the “Names people picked” list. Names containing your own word and your ♥ history are never sent. Details are in the privacy policy.
Reviews below come only from people who used the tool. We did not add any sample reviews, and reviews follow the same comment rules (reports, blocked words, no links).
